The Kang Chuen Tat Company Malaysia was established in 2007.  The first location started this scientific research activity is in Tanjung Bunga in the state Penang in Malaysia.  All the inputs and outputs of the operation of the Company belong to the public and for the public managed by selected professional and qualified personnel of the Company.

Introduction to Kang Chuen Tat Company Malaysia (Non-profit)

 

Kang Chuen Tat Company Malaysia is a non-profit research company in chemical technology, biological and biochemical process engineering, serving the society voluntarily as a part of community development project.

Kang Chuen Tat Company Malaysia as Agency of Partnerships

 

Companies or research institutes are welcome to talk to the management anytime with appointment about your interest to co-operate with third parties in conducting similar research projects either in or outside Malaysia.  Kang Chuen Tat Company Malaysia also set up one agency unit that work as introducers of technological-related jobs for unemployed scientists and engineers, at the same time, assist in linking the interest of various research institutes in developing partnerships where fees are to be charged fairly for successful collaborative grant application.  The company so far has been able to develop two cases of linkage International with universities overseas, working on wastewater and biomaterial formulation, proven the ability of the company, serve as agency in multidisciplinary technological areas.

CONSTITUTION FOR KANG CHUEN TAT COMPANY MALAYSIA AS A CHARITABLE  ORGANIZATION

 

Section 1 : OBJECTIVES

Section 2 : BRIEF INTRODUCTION

The Company was established in 2007.  The first location started this scientific research activity is in Tanjung Bunga in the state Penang in Malaysia.  All the inputs and outputs of the operation of the Company belong to the public and for the public managed by selected professional and qualified personnel of the Company.

 

Section 3 : MEMBERSHIP CONDITIONS

The Company (means Kang Chuen Tat Company Malaysia) welcomes everybody to become a public member.

 

Section 4 : MEMBERSHIP FEES

The Company charges each member Malaysian Ringgit Zero Only (RM0) per year.  This will alter from time to time depending on the amount of donation collected per year.  The list of membership may be renewed annually beginning from the first of January every year.

 

Section 5 : DONATIONS

All sorts of money donation could be directed to the Treasurer of the Company.  The Company also welcomes the supply of books, equipment, transport, food and other necessities for the establishment and sustainability of the organization.

 

Section 6 : BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION

All money will be placed in the selected bank with account number maintained by the treasurer, for various activity uses.  It is the responsibility of the treasurer of the Company to maintain proper bank account and the cash-flow information of the Company.

 

Section 7 : COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Approximately 20 members are required for the Establishment Committee based on the regulations provided.  5 of the starting members are classified into Executive Committee (EXCO) and the other 10 are grouped into Subordinate Committee (SUBCOM) of which the tentative responsibilities are outlined below :

 

7.1  Executive Committee (EXCO) : Consisting of the president, vice president, secretary, vice secretary and treasurer.

 

7.1.1 President

President is the chief of the Company, EXCO and representative to external organizations.  The president will be assisted by the vice president in the management of the organization.

 

The president is also the head of the disciplinary unit consisting of president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and one observer.  The disciplinary unit serves to make investigation, evaluation and judgment related to the matters that are against the principal and regulations of the Company.

 

The disciplinary unit reserves the rights to suspend the memberships of those are seriously against the Regulations / Constitution set within the Company.  All appeal could be made within 14 days to one month after receiving the formal letter from the disciplinary unit.

 

7.1.2 Secretary

The secretary is the head of publication in all the correspondences in and out of the Company.  The secretary is assisted by 1 vice secretary in the preparation of document for the Company uses, correspondence and electronic communication.

 

It is also the responsibility of the secretary to maintain a proper website, managing the group messages of the Company and the maintenance of e-mail relevant to the issues and welfare of the organization.  The secretary will be assisted by SUBCOM and members in updating the information of the Company on web, management of the book resources in the Company and planning the activity of the Company.

 

7.1.3 Treasurer

The responsibility of the treasurer is to ensure proper financial situation and the management of the money donation of the Company, inclusive of the collection and spending of membership fees and the support from the public as in Section 4 : MEMBERSHIP FEES, Section 5 : DONATIONS and Section 6 : BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION.  The treasurer is responsible for the approval of publication material of the Company.

 

7.2 Subordinate Committee (SUBCOM) : The number of SUBCOM members is not limited but the minimum is 10.  The tentative responsibility is to assist EXCO in all management tasks.  The SUBCOM is responsible for all sorts of material publication of the Company but prior approval has to be obtained from the treasurer.  The SUBCOM will cooperate with the secretary in the reading material loan and activity loan for members.

 

 

Section 8 : COMPANY ADVISORS

The numbers of Company advisors are not limited.  The main tasks are to provide advice to EXCO in handling specific issues relevant to the organization based preferably on the execution of activities in parallel to the interest and welfare of the members majority of which are interested in environmental science.

 

Section 9 : GENERAL ELECTION AND DECISION MAKING

Two-third majority is required for making any formal decision relevant to the operation of the organization.  The term of service is minimum 1 year of which the election will be held in September each year.

 

Section 10 : CASE SELECTION IN THE OPERATION OF GJS INTELLECTUAL COMPANY AUSTRALIA (“THE COMPANY”)

1. The Company welcomes the participation and memberships even from non-residents for comments, suggestions and contribution towards the proper organization management.  Various forms of research grants and funding collected by the Company may be utilized by the professionals outsourced from non-members of the Company supervised by at least an EXCO of the Company.

2. Proper language should always be used in the activity of the organization based on the rules and regulations.  The main language of instruction of the Company is English.  However, other languages like Chinese language and Malay language etc may also be allowed as written or medium of instructions wherever appropriate.

3. The practises of various research-related activities, for example, field and laboratory research programs, quizzes, competition, exhibition, publication, industrial visit and academic counselling are always conducted on routine and ad-hoc basis wherever applicable, as forms of requirement for the sustenance of the organization but emphasis will be placed on the quality of the program performed and overall co-operation among the members in voluntary contribution to the mainly scientific research-based program for the well-being of community.
